Fine Antique Dhokra, Bastar Ritual Offering Bowl on Wheels, from west Bengal. [Not a Toy!] Dating from early 19thC. These are apparently used on roadside shrines/altars for offerings, then disregarded when they have lost their power. I have had two in the past, this is an object i had never encountered before and now i have another. From a recent collection. Might look better with a wax, just ask if you would like it done. I have books for sale on this group of people, check out the book section.
