Very Rare 15th -16thC Early Lanna Period, Bronze Buddha. Sculpted with superb detail and skill has good patination, but no inscription. This piece has been mounted on a wooden stand a very long time ago as its original cast stand have missing sections, all the remaining original is there set into the wood so it can be seen [see pictures]. The detachable Bronze Ushnisha is missing as normal. This sculpture would have originally been made in or around Chiang Mai, in Northern Thailand. Bought from a UK Collection. A great investment and good looking Sculpture.
