A Rare 19thC Burmese Lacquer and Wood Gilt Figure of Buddha Protected by the Muchalinda Naga Figure. He is seated in padmasana with his hands in bhumisparsa mudra. Lovely quality item and so decorative, Good investment item. I have never seen this type before in a Burmese Buddhist sculpture.
