19thC Burmese Bronze Buddha [With Casting Faults]. It has a lovely face and is very peacfull. This sculpture is made in the traditional way using the lost wax method and during the pouring of the molton bronze a defect broke through and caused the problens we see now. Once made the sculpture cannot be destroyed as it is an immage of Buddha and therefore sacred. A fraction of the price of a perfect one but still hold historical value and displays well. A lovely sculpture. From a uk collector and good friend.
