Size 32cm inc the stand.

Early 19thC Burmese Carved Wood Monk kneeling in reverence on a lotus throne and now mounted [fixed] on a turned hardwood stand, finished in Red Lacquer and Gold Leaf. He would have been one of a pair, known as Sariputta and Moggallana. These would have been attached to a large Buddha sculpture on either side. Its common for them to be detached from the original sculpture.
