Fine Antique very large Burmese cast bronze bell support. Sometimes the bell is supported by two carved wooden/Stone figures holding it as a Palanquin arrangement. This one would have originated from the Lower Burma regions because of the angels depicted on the sides. Lower Burma was once a trading area for the Portuguese in the 18thC and they brought Catholicism, hence the European angels. Stunning heavy interior item.
