A Nice Early Burmese Buddhist Buff Coloured Terracotta Amulet 12thC [Pagan Period]. High relief but worn. It is showing Buddha seated cross legged on an altar this is then flanked by two lotus buds growing from the altar .This votive amulet has white wash covering 90% of the surface which tells me it has spent time in a pagoda. From a Dutch collection and one of a few we managed to buy. Comes with free display stand.
