Huge 19thC, Russian icon “Saint Nicholas flanked by Christ and Mary” egg tempera on wood. Some scratched text on the reverse, as in picture. Minor damage and repairs as normal, but still a very attractive collectable icon. The wood is warped as is often the case. Let the pictures do the talking.
