Antique Dhokra Bronze Elephant Oil Lamp. Panchdipa [Lakshmi] the Goddess of Light who is depicted riding an elephant and bearing a kalasha, or pitcher for oil, on her head. A stunning well used antique from the mid 19thC. This one is uncleaned. We have a number of these all different and can trade the lot as a deal. This is from a brilliant large hoard/collection i have purchased, all are as found in a dirty shed.
