Fine Antique Indian Brass Vibuthi Bowl used for applying Holy Ash [Vibhuti] in the worship of Lord Shiva. This one has an inscription. The ash is obtained by the burning of cow dung, a ceremony to burn our ignorance and sins to ashes. The rim is decorated with Cobra, Sacred Cow and Lingam Stone as in the pictures. This item is at least 100 years old. Nice for burning Incense Cones in your home.
