Large Antique Underglazed Peshawar Pottery Dish, created for domestic use in Pakistan and Afghanistan [Swat region], reflecting the local simple style of living, but also a desire for decoration and colour, thus serving two purposes. Simplistic and naive yet very decorative. Not common in this cobolt blue colour. Some glaze losses as expected.
