A Rare 18thC Bronze Buddhist Narrative[the death of Buddha] with fantastic burial patination and traces of high carat gold leaf. I have made a custom stand for this sculpture. This one is from a large group all excavated together from the same site and has damage as expected. These were originally placed in relic chambers within a pagoda along with amulets as votive offerings. Bought as part of a large old Belgian collection.
