Rare Antique Thai Buddha Hair Curl Amulet made from terracotta with weathered patination. This example is from my own collection and is the only one i have seen outside a museum. It is aprox 750 years old and originated in Lamphun in northern Thailand. I have seen and studied this amulet type in the Wat Phrathat Hariphunchai museum in Lamphun. This would have most likely to have been inside a pagoda relic chamber. Purchased a while ago with a small colection.
