Nice late 18thC hand painted Tibetan thangka, depicting the goddess Tara. This has been removed from its silk brocade border but the stitch holes are still visible. Now sadly mounted behind clear perspex as an interior design wall hanging. I have removed the perspex to inspect and it appears that the fabric has been stuck to the back board but should remove with some care. One of a collection we purchased in France.
