18thC Bronze Burmese Buddhist Narrative, Naga and Buddha under the Naga. It has Excellent burial patination and traces of high carat gold leaf. These are from a large group all excavated together from the same site and has slight damage as expected. These narratives were originally placed in relic chambers within a pagoda along with amulets as votive offerings. Bought as part of a large old Belgian Scholars collection.
