Superb 17thC Thai Cast Bronze Buddha of the type known as Fang,from the Fang District in Chiang Mai Province northern Thailand. Buddha seen seated on a high lotus altar. Stunning patination and detailed workmanship. Such a nice calm face. Good investment quality sculpture. The Ushnisha has been replaced with a wooden one a long time ago. Part of a recent collection we have purchased.
