Thai String Bound Black Clay antique amulet of a Buffalo amulet [(Kwai-Tha-Nu]. The Kwai Wua Thanu are Magic Bulls or Buffalos that have the ability to watch over one’s house or dwelling, or mark a safe area around the the owner of the Amulet and their personal space and possessions. Like the Bull itself, Kwai Thanu are protective of territory as well as the personal areas of the Amulet’s caretakers. When called upon, Kwai Wua Thanu offer protection to their owner if the Amulets are well cared for. This example has some age. There is a slight chip to the tail.
